Commercial Default: Accurate Valuations in a Changing Market

In this course you will take an in depth look at commercial valuation concepts from the appraiser’s perspective and learn how that translates to the completion of Broker Opinion of Value (BOV). This will be followed by a case study where you will be provided actual market data from which to prepare your own BOV. This course is taught by industry leading valuation experts. Challenging Case Studies and Setting Up a Successful Practice
Members: $149|Non-Members: $199
Course Time: 4 Hours
While course 1 and 2 provided the basics of commercial real estate, Course 3 starts by providing you with practical, actionable ideas and skills with which to enter the commercial space: what technology platforms you’ll subscribe to, what professional associations potential clients might belong to, and setting expectations for the commercial sales cycle. You will then complete Broker Opinion of Value for a difficult property, and finally transfer key information from that report into an Offering Memorandum (marketing package) for that property. We’ll wrap up with a discussion on presenting that to a client.
