About the Commercial Default Certification Program:

This certification will provide you with an overview of the differences between commercial and residential foreclosures, followed by a workshop with case studies in the valuation of several key asset classes, and concludes with a course on environmental and regulatory issues, and advice on adding this business to your revenue stream.

Are you considering adding Commercial Default to your suite of services? Interested in learning what makes your BPO standout and provide REAL value to your client? This four-hour course will be broken into 3 distinct sections that will cover: 1) What a BPO is and isn’t, property descriptions, neighborhood information and listing history; 2) Accurate repair estimates, comp selection and adjustments; 3) Recommended strategies, final value assessments, comments and photos.  Each of the three sections will be followed by a comprehensive case study to ensure the subjects are thoroughly understood.

Part 3, Challenging Case Studies and Setting Up a Successful Practice, will explore difficult commercial properties and how to handle them successfully. This culmination course will complete your preparation to venture into commercial default. You will learn how to navigate challenging properties and when to pull in additional resources – before it’s too late.
