MEMBERSHIP ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Membership Advisory Council exists to sustain and build on the REOMAC membership.  As an advisory board to the REOMAC Board of Directors, members report to the board on our efforts and ideas for growing the membership.  Members of the council survey the membership to determine their interests to insure the organization is fulfilling the membership’s needs.  The Membership Councils oversees outreach to renewing members and also develops marketing ideas to bring in new members.  The Membership Council is also called on to speak at REOMAC events to promote membership renewals and solicitation of new potential members.  The Council has been essential in guarantying the growth our premier industry association.

EDUCATION & TRAINING ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Education Advisory Council shall be responsible for the educational content at all dinner meetings, workshops and summits. The Education Council shall present all content to the Board of Directors for approval prior to scheduling speakers. The Advisory Council will choose topics that are timely and of interest to all Association members.

EVENTS ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Events Advisory Council shall be responsible for selecting the venues and locations for all REOMAC educational events. The Advisory will work with other Councils insuring events have appropriate promotion, content, speakers and income and expense fall within the approved annual budget. The Council will select venues and locations that benefit all members of REOMAC. The Advisory Council shall present recommendations for event venues and locations to the Board of Directors for approval.

PUBLIC RELATIONS/MARKETING ADVISORY COUNCIL

The PR/Marketing Council shall work to promote the association through printed and electronic media. The Council shall oversee REOMAC publications, website content, marketing materials and any online or printed material for the Association. The Council will work in conjunction with Headquarters to produce a comprehensive quarterly newsletter (the REOMAC Update). The Council will research, select, review and approve educational articles for publication in the newsletter. The Marketing portion of this Council will focus on promotions, and new product development to include developing a REOMAC® brand and creating new revenue streams for the Association. The Headquarters’ Office will work with the PR/Marketing Council to create collateral marketing pieces promoting REOMAC®.

TECHNOLOGY & WEBSITE ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Technology / Web Site Advisory Council shall work with Headquarters in the expansion of services provided by the REOMAC web site that enhance member needs. The Advisory Council shall present ideas to the Board of Directors for approval and oversee the implementation on the web site.

COMMERCIAL ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Commercial Council shall be responsible for orchestration commercial education dinner meetings, events, workshops, webinars, and summit training sessions.  The Council will focus on providing commercial topics of interest to existing residential REOMAC membership, which also attract new, but already seasoned members from the commercial arena.  The Commercial Council will be focusing on upcoming commercial industry development in order to offer our current REOMAC residential broker members new gateways of opportunities for networking and expansion into the business centric commercial trade.

GOVERNANCE COUNCIL

The Governance / Ethics Council will ensure the accuracy of the Association’s governing documents, including the bylaws and Manual of Policies and Procedures. The Council will oversee the ethical policies as set by the Board for the membership and the annual election process.

FINANCE ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Finance Council shall review the budget to ensure REOMAC is staying on target with the approved budget projections.  The Council will recommend any needed adjustments to the Board of Directors.

FOUNDATION ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Foundation Council strives to promote the importance of education, giving back, and supporting those seeking higher education to achieve their goals.  The Council is tasked with raising funds to promote to promote the Foundation Scholarship Program at the Annual Summit and dinner events across the country.  The Council is responsible for reviewing the Scholarship Applications each year and recommending scholarship awards for approval by the Foundation board of directors.
